Biography:
Dustin Seymour was born July 23rd, 1984 in Orange City, FL. Dustin's first memory of music is from the age of 2 when we would go watch his father Greg and his gospel group 'The Jeremiah Singers' perform at churches around the southeast. Dustin vividly remembers running up to the stage while his father was performing and demanding to hold the microphone. An entertainer from the start. Dustin started performing at the age of 7, and began singing professionally at the age of 10. At the age of 25 for a musician to say they've been singing for 18 years is pretty rare. Dustin attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN and this was the place where he really started to hone his songwriting skills. While in Nashville, Dustin picked up the guitar and started writing his own music. In addition to becoming a developing wordsmith, Dustin was able to sing with the likes of Alan Jackson, Dolly Parton and the Oak Ridge Boys. Upon returning to Florida from Nashville, Dustin was hellbent on finding people he could share a dream and the love of expressing themselves through music. A group where his words and melodies could really take hold. He found exactly what he was looking for in the trio of Mike's. This was the beginning of Whiskey Basin. The future is yet to be written, but from the looks of things, the best is still to come...
