Biography:
I was born on campus at the University of Florida in Gainesville where I lived until I was 5 yrs. old. Lived in Maryland for 3 yrs while my father worked for the Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC. Moved back to Deland, Florida where i graduated from Deland High School's Class of 1979. Played music in several local bands from the age of 13 until 21 when I joined the US Army and served for 8 yrs in countries all over the world, including Germany, Honduras, and Korea. Also served in Colorado and Oklahoma. I Have been an insurance agent with Florida Farm Bureau for the last 21 years. I Played in the bands Comfort Zone and Vital Signs in the Volusia area for 4 years before being recruited into Whiskey Basin as a fill in as Dustin, Mike and my son Michael were looking for a drummer....then i guess they decided they would keep me and it has been a blast ever since watching these young guys grow into the awesome band they are today...i wouldn't trade it for anything.
